A couple of weeks ago, professional actor and director Steven Ray was in town for the Dunedin Fringe Festival. His show, Title and Deed was a provocative monologue by Pulitzer Prize finalist and ‘maverick wordsmith’ Will Eno, madly channelling Absurdist playwright Samuel Beckett.
Steven ia a forty-year veteran of New Zealand film, television and theatre, with parts in films like The Hobbit and A Bloody Christmas.
Steven spent the afternoon with senior drama students dispensing acting advice, talking about his process, his acting experiences and tips on learning lines.
